Suckles.

Today,chemistry daerah competition.

Location - Smk Bukit Kuda

Travel there around 7:30pm.

On the way :

In Pn.Nora's car.

She's so cute lahh.Pn.Nora moved the driver seat 2 times nearer to the steering than any other drivers out there :D

Reached the school.Straight went to register & find our lab table.

Gotta say their chemistry lab is freaking cool & clean!

Look at this floor.Fucking clean until it's shiny right?

And take a look around the lab -

Then,we're asked to prepare everything and the competition starts at 9pm.

Delayed 15 mins.

So its not long till our turn.It works like..there's 3 judge in total.Each of them will come seperately & we need to explain 3 times.

Problem : We planned to surprise the judges all in one time.At last changed the plan.

I went thr confidently & spoke confidently because of all my friend's support,wishes. (thanks)

But it turned out to be garbage.

We worked our butt off everynight until i got a gigantic zit and it didn't paid off.

Fucking mad & sad.

The whole foam didnt shoot.No idea which chemical's fault.

We straight malu weyy.No face.-

Probably its the potassium iodide or hydrogen peroxide.

We asked for second chance to redo our experiment again and the pink colour dressed judge which's the first one don't let us.

The first thing came out in our mind was SHIT.WHAT THE FUCK? Why won't it shoot?!?

Because we've done this experiment for 5 times total,including this.

1. Failed
2. failed
3. Succeeded
4. Succeeded
5. Failed - this time*

 

W.T.F

We tried to make it work again and again but we dont have enough hydrogen peroxide.Still left some so we tried using a smaller cylinder.

Just a little bubbles.

Same thing happen with the first time we did this,which we used 6% hydrogen peroxide and potassium iodide.

But we needed :

• 30% hydrogen peroxide
• SATURATED potassium iodide.

 

So i don't know what went wrong.

But after i gave a few thoughts going back.

Potassium iodide - Succeeded : Yellow colour

Failed          : White colour

So i don't know! ARGH!

Other two judge, indian guy & malay girl teacher.

Those other we continue our explanation and we left our small cylinder that we did  (the above picture) to prove that our explanation & theory is right.

And we have to tell teacher that we failed to show  the reaction,malunya -__-

But they're nice people :) unlike pink -.-

Indian guy judge : Oh..sometimes chemical errors could happen.What is this experiment again?

Me                          : Erm..elephant toothpaste.

Indian guy judge : OH. I saw the reaction before from another group.

And we're like WHAT??

After all these.We went around the school & to other labs for a look.

I bet you'll freak out when you see this.

Preserved Rat.

Preserved snake.

Preserved white snail & scorpion.

Preserved fish.Don't really know wht's called in english but it looks like a goldfish species kind.

There's alot more like..baby chicks,lizard,white snake.No pics taken cause i don't dare to even touch the bottle,makes my body hair goes " | "

Another snake with the tongue sticking out dried at the glass tube.Angie showed me that and i actually jumped. -.-

scary okay.ANYWAY.

See.This all shows girl's are more well behave than guys.Since it's a girl school.HAHAH :D

Dont get this though..

Finally,its going home time.

Before that had a prize giving ceremony.Was bored.,almost slept..so? FACEBOOK.

Even more sad after knowing the results.We're so close into winning the 3rd prize because the 3rd winner is actually doing the same experiment as we did.

If only ours succeeded,we've won.

The first prize winner's doing cell experiment i think,form 5.Second prize i'm not sure.

In my mind i'm only thinking how close for us in winning it.How close.

My biggest failure till now.

Walked to the car.Going back with terrible mood.

Feel like crying.Hah.

But,this is not gonna stop me liking this subject or losing any interest in chemistry.

I find it interesting especially experiments.

Although we didn't win,we gained experience.

Next year i'm coming back.If i did,we're winning.HMPFHH :\
